Sarah Brennand
BSc (Hons). PGCHE. MBA. FHEA.
Sarah is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Illuminare Executive Education as well as the Founder and provider of all L7 Executive Coaching Services.
Sarah is a Certified Executive, Licensed Emotional Intelligence, and Master NLP Coach, specialising in high-performance coaching with an impressive track record of over 2000 executive coaching hours, catering to C-suite executives. Approved as a Business Mentor and recognised as a profile specialist, Sarah excels in leadership, emotional intelligence, personality profiling and communication, as well as interpersonal and team dynamics.
In addition to her coaching expertise, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as an International Trainer and Advisory Panel Member for CPD international regulation. With over 18 years of experience as a UK Senior Higher Education Institution (HEI) Leader and Academic, she has been instrumental in designing and delivering executive education, postgraduate, and undergraduate degree programmes across diverse locations including the UK, Singapore, Botswana, Greece, Switzerland, Denmark, The United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
Beyond academia, Sarah has founded and managed her own businesses in coaching, training, corporate well-being, and education sectors. Through these ventures, she has collaborated with clients from various sectors and renowned establishments. Sarah’s client portfolio spans education, leisure, sport, finance, investment, technology, and IT solution specialists. With a proven track record and a unique skill set, she is dedicated to delivering unparalleled coaching and educational experiences, contributing to the success and growth of individuals and organisations alike.
Stephen Smith

Stephen is the Co-Founder & Commercial Director of Illuminare Executive Education, he is also the Founder & CEO of Illuminare Medical Education and Illuminare Education.
He is an accomplished business leader and entrepreneur with a passion for executive education and organisational development. With a track record of success in both corporate and academic settings, Stephen has dedicated his career to empowering leaders and driving organisational excellence.
In a career that has spanned 38 years in Corporate Finance, Property Development, Hospitality and Academia, Stephen is passionate about the value of executive education, experiencing first-hand the value of both formal and informal education and commercial development during that time. The value of learning within an organisation, with a focus on the organisation is the way that people and businesses grow.
John F Kennedy said that ‘Leadership and Learning are indispensable to each other’. Throughout his career Stephen has seen the value of learning and the benefit ‘educated’ leadership has on the growth and success of an organisation.
Stephen co-founded Illuminare Executive Education to enable leaders to really lead through their own education and the education of their teams.
